Madonna and her family are scheduled to travel to Malawi next week to visit several important projects for orphans and vulnerable children that she and Raising Malawi have been working on since 2006.
She is expected to visit the Millennium Village which she supports along with Dr. Jeffrey Sachs, one of the world's leading economists. “I look forward to seeing the amazing progress being made in that community as well as several other projects that are currently underway including the creation of a Girl’s Academy. I'm hugely excited to be joining Dr. Sachs and Hans Vestberg, the CEO of Ericsson, to launch a new campaign for worldwide access to education using mobile technology,” stated Madonna. A formal announcement regarding the campaign will be made on Tuesday in Malawi.

Here are the items we are looking for right now:
- Concert posters, show flyers and tour passes from any era
- Ticket stubs from any concert or tour
- Vintage t-shirts
If you have any of those, please e-mail us a picture of it at madonnaphotos@gmail.com. Please make sure to review the following guidelines before hitting the “send” button:
- Each picture must be JPG format and 2MB (2,000KB) maximum
- 5 pictures per category please.
- Describe each item, tell us where you got it and why you consider it a special/important one

Madonna, along with the Iconix Brand Group, recently created a brand new company, called MG ICON. The newly formed joint venture is to work on various fashion related projects in the future, the first of them being an amazing eyewear collection co-developed by Madonna and Dolce & Gabbana!
Stefano Gabbana recently told Women's Wear Daily, "We're so excited. This further strengthens our relationship with Madonna, and it was a very constructive experience for us." Dolce added, "We thought, why not do something together and unite two very strong and high-profile names."
The MDG collection will hit Dolce & Gabbana stores during the month of May, but will also be available from the Sunglass Hut chain and select opticians.
