A Letter And Video Message From Madonna
Dear Friends,
My life has been changed. I must share my story with you.
It all began seven years ago when I learned of a small country in Africa called Malawi. Over one million children in this country have been orphaned by AIDS and extreme poverty. Children have been left raising children. Learn more by watching the video message I created for you and discover my interest and concern for Malawi.
Watch a video message from me about Malawi: http://www.raisingmalawi.org/madonnavideo
The moment I realized the impact I could have on these children, my life was transformed. With the smallest actions, I have witnessed enormous change -- and I'd like to give you the opportunity to help others in need and experience the same kind of fulfillment.
Sign up and join our movement to raise Malawi. I'll send ten (10) people who sign up this week an autographed copy of my documentary film, I Am Because We Are, a movie that will change your life.
You can sign up here: http://www.raisingmalawi.org/madonnavideo
Michael Berg and I founded Raising Malawi to bring an end to the extreme poverty and hardship endured by Malawi's orphans and vulnerable children. We have partnered with organizations working with the local communities in Malawi. Rather than simply providing aid, we're empowering Malawians with the tools they need to shape their own destiny.
Despite the unimaginable conditions, there is a hope and a determination in the people of Malawi that is nothing short of contagious. It's the spirit of Malawians that keeps me coming back.
I invite you to share in the joy of Raising Malawi. Stories and updates from this small African nation will inspire you and offer a personal connection to the people I call my heroes and friends.
Please sign up now, and you could receive a signed copy of our DVD: http://www.raisingmalawi.org/madonnavideo
Together, we will raise Malawi.
Love,
Madonna
P.S. Donate today to Raising Malawi and I will match your gift, doubling its impact. http://www.raisingmalawi.org/donatenow

Raising Malawi together
Such a beautiful project and involvement, Madonna. We support you and the people of Malawi. I made a small donation today (as much as I can afford), I hope this can help. I'll spread the word on Raising Malawi so that more people join the cause. Good luck! Love you. Amelie (from Cannes) |

Nice one.
As usual the Queen of Pop not only talks the talk, but actually walks the walk. God bless you in this Madonna. |

So generous...
You could stay everywhere you like, and you could avoid all the problems the world lives... but you DONT, you face it and you want and do something to solve them.
I admire you so much. What an act of love to adopt David! that cute boy :)
I want to congratulate you for your family Madonna.
Love,

Raising Malawi Project
I wanted to thank you for highlighting this very worthwhile project even further with the message that our donations would be matched by yourself Madonna. I have made a donation tonight (Friday) and hope that it will help even anyway possible with the project that you have contributed in so many ways to already. I thank you for increasing my awareness of this project, the work that you are doing and plans for the future too. I saw something different in Madonna tonight that I have rarely seen and I have been a fan for 25 years. The focus and dedication to this project that Madonna has is something that I admire and hope that you will continue to bring this to our attention. |
