BLOCKBUSTER AND ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY MAGAZINE PRESENT THE SEVENTH ANNUAL BLOCKBUSTER ENTERTAINMENT AWARDS AIRING APRIL 11 ON FOX
(LOS ANGELES and DALLAS, Jan. 8, 2001) Blockbuster Inc. and Entertainment Weekly magazine will present the Seventh Annual Blockbuster Entertainment Awards, airing on Wednesday, April 11 (8 p.m.- 10 p.m. ET/PT) on FOX.
The show will be taped on Tuesday, April 10 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.
The Blockbuster Entertainment Awards is one of the world's largest publicly-voted awards shows honoring the lead and supporting actors and actresses in the top-performing movies of 2000, as well as music artists based on the top-selling albums for 2000, as determined by Baseline.Hollywood.com.
Millions of Blockbuster customers will have the opportunity to cast their votes for their favorite actors, actresses and musicians beginning Jan. 30. Voting will take place in more than 5,000 participating U.S. Blockbuster stores, as well as in more than 1,400 stores in 14 countries. Voting will also be accessible to fans via blockbusterawards.com and will end on Feb. 19.
