Today is Malala Day

November 10, 2012
On October 9, 2012, 15-year-old Malala Yousafzai of Pakistan was shot in the head by the Taliban. It was a failed attempt to silence her - and her leading voice for girls' education and the right of all children to go to school.

The Malala Fund was established for the family and Malala to direct once she is well to work together with supporters of the cause, including the United Nations Foundation and Girl Up.

Malala Los Angeles
You gave an amazing speech on 10/10/12 at Staples Center. I can't stress enough how much I appreciate all you do for the world that goes unrecognized because critics can't see past you being a woman in power with a clear and open mind. You have stood behind the LGBT community for ever and a day, stood up for basic human rights and stood up for people who are different. Malala has to be so proud to have you and your fans standing behind her and what she believes in. I do realize how lucky I am to live in Los Angeles and I can admit, I don't always appreciate all that I have, but you knocked my upside my head that night and gave me a good reality check. Love to you always.

Malala Day
This is more proof; man lives all these years on earth and can not come out of the Dark Ages of time.I wish her speedy recovery..This is the type of thinking that burnt Joan Of Arc...France A.D. 1431.
