REMASTERED RAY OF LIGHT AUDIO AND VIDEO REMIX AVAILABLE TODAY

LOS ANGELES – Madonna has unveiled the next digital single from her upcoming FINALLY ENOUGH LOVE compilation, the “Ray Of Light (Sasha Ultra Violet Mix Edit)” by Sasha, a U.K.-born DJ/producer whose love of electronic music and acid house helped turn this remix into a perfect complement to the original. The euphoric cut was an instant success in clubs, giving Madonna yet another #1 on the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart, reaching the top spot just under 24 years ago on June 20, 1998. “Ray Of Light” would go on to win the Grammy® Award for Best Dance Recording the following year. “Ray Of Light (Sasha Ultra Violet Mix Edit)” is available digitally and commercially for the first time today, while the accompanying video for the remix has now been upgraded to HD as well. Click here to watch now.

Madonna made history once again when she recently topped the Dance Club Songs chart for the 50th time, making her the first and only recording artist to have 50 #1 hits on any single Billboard chart.

To celebrate this historic milestone, Madonna curated two new collections: FINALLY ENOUGH LOVE: 50 NUMBER ONES, a new 50-track collection that includes her favorite remixes of those chart-topping dance hits that have filled clubs worldwide for four decades, and an abridged 16-track version, simply titled FINALLY ENOUGH LOVE.

These new collections will mark the first album releases to be part of the newly announced partnership between Madonna and Warner Music Group, which will feature an extensive series of catalog releases across her groundbreaking career.

50 NUMBER ONES spans her entire dance club chart reign with dozens of remixes by the world’s top producers. In addition to fan favorites, the collection also includes a selection of rare remix recordings, with more than 20 being officially released for the first time or making their commercial/digital debut. The collection will be available digitally on August 19, along with a 3-CD ($29.98) version. A limited edition, 6-LP version on red and black vinyl ($149.98) will also be available and has already sold out in pre-orders.

The 16-track version, FINALLY ENOUGH LOVE, will be available for streaming on June 24, with 1-CD ($14.98) and 180-gram 2-LP ($34.98) versions coming on August 19. Pre-order and Pre-save now.

Boasting more than 220 minutes of remixes, FINALLY ENOUGH LOVE: 50 NUMBER ONES flows in mostly chronological order, showcasing the many musical reinventions that made Madonna an international icon, from 1983’s “Holiday” to 2019’s “I Don’t Search I Find,” with remixes by some of the biggest and most influential DJs of all time including Shep Pettibone, William Orbit, Honey Dijon, and Avicii.

On several songs, Madonna is joined by other incredible artists, including Britney Spears (“Me Against The Music”); Justin Timberlake and Timbaland (“4 Minutes”); and Nicki Minaj (“Bitch I’m Madonna.”) Each remix was newly remastered for the collection by Mike Dean, who produced Madonna’s two most-recent studio albums, Rebel Heart (2015) and Madame X (2019).

Both of these new collections also highlight You Can Dance, Madonna’s first ever remix collection. Celebrating 35 years this year, You Can Dance has sold more than five million copies worldwide and is still the second best-selling remix album of all time. The collection also pays homage to “Everybody,” Madonna’s first single, celebrating its 40th Anniversary on October 6. Madonna redesigned the album’s chronology by picking three edits from You Can Dance, including “Into The Groove”, “Everybody” and “Physical Attraction,” which reflects the underground club vibes that inspired her first recordings as a Sire artist.

Along with those rarities, these albums also introduce versions that are seeing their first ever official release, including the “Alternate Single Remix” of “Keep It Together,” the “Offer Nissim Promo Mix” of “Living For Love,” and more.

In advance of the debut of FINALLY ENOUGH LOVE in June, one of the 50 chart toppers – “Causing A Commotion” – was spotlighted early as an exclusive release for this year’s Record Store Day on April 23. Three remixes of the track appeared on the limited edition, five-track, red vinyl 12” EP Who’s That Girl Super Club Mix.

Expect more surprises to be revealed later this year around the celebration of Madonna’s 40 years in music.

MADONNA AND SICKCIK RELEASE 'FROZEN ON FIRE'

May 19, 2022 (Los Angeles, CA) – Today, Madonna and Sickick unleash an alluring take on her 1998 classic “Frozen,” now dubbed “Frozen on Fire,” via Warner Records. Listen HERE. Both Madonna and Sickick recorded fresh vocals for the track, which includes a brand-new verse, remaking the iconic single into an ecstatic trap collaboration.

Much like Sickick’s original remake of “Frozen,” this new version completely reinvents the beloved track. Singing alongside Sickick, Madonna offers a new verse that elevates the immortal club anthem to new heights.

This is the fourth iteration of “Frozen” to arrive since Sickick first reinvented the song on TikTok in 2021, which led to massive viral success. In March, an emotional remix of the track featuring Nigerian singer Fireboy DML was released, followed, a month later, by a version featuring New Jersey’s 070 Shake. Each provided their own specific take, building on Sickick’s dazzling production. “I was jealous that everyone else was singing on my track,” Madonna says. “I wanted to remind people that I wrote this song.” Now, with “Frozen on Fire,” Sickick takes center stage with the pop icon, adding his own vocals to the shape-shifting track.

So far, Madonna and Sickick’s viral collab has amassed over 125 million streams globally and soundtracked nearly 1M TikTok videos, a number that’s sure to continue to explode with this new rendition.

Sickick just wrapped his Sickmix tour is set to light up iconic festival stages later this year at Tomorrowland, Saga Festival, and Rock in Rio in Brazil. More tour dates will be announced soon, including a fully routed hard ticket tour of North America this fall.

And Madonna is only getting started in 2022. Earlier this month, she announced the release of FINALLY ENOUGH LOVE: 50 NUMBER ONES, a 50-track remix collection that explores the singer’s dominance on the Billboard Dance Club Chart for over forty years. The release‎—due out August 19, with a 16-track version called FINALLY ENOUGH LOVE due June 24‎—is a celebration of Madonna’s music and her homage to dance culture through the years.

MADONNA AND BEEPLE GIVE BIRTH TO MOTHER OF CREATION

NEW YORK, NY, May 9, 2022 | Madonna and Beeple today announced their collaboration for a triptych entitled Mother of Creation. A labor of love a year in the making, both artists partnered to connect to the idea of creation and motherhood as told through this visual medium.

The works explore the concept of birth via darkness and light in our modern world. The three NFTs will drop exclusively on SuperRare, the pioneering platform for unique curated NFT artworks, on May 11, 2022 with a starting price of 0.00035774 ETH ($1 USD). All proceeds from the sale will benefit three nonprofits: The Voices of Children Foundation, The City of Joy Foundation and Black Mama’s Bail Out. The triptych was created with infrastructure support from Moonpay.

Over the past four decades, Madonna has been sharing her artistic vision through music, films, dance, and writing. The mother of six strives to use her platform and artistic reach to raise awareness and influence change on critical issues affecting women and children, and to give a voice to people who have historically been marginalized.

“When Mike and I decided to collaborate on this project a year ago, I was excited to have the opportunity to share my vision of the world as a mother and an artist with Mike’s own unique point of view.” states Madonna. “ It’s been an amazing journey building this together from an intellectual idea to an emotional story, giving birth to art. I wanted to investigate the concept of creation, not only the way a child enters the world through a woman’s vagina, but also the way an artist gives birth to creativity. Most importantly we wanted to use this opportunity to benefit mothers and children who are most in need right now.”

“I was thrilled to connect artistically with Madonna to create this series of artworks,” states Beeple. “Our collaboration was really natural and we shared a creative vision that has been so gratifying to realize and now share with the world.”

ABOUT MOTHER OF CREATION
The three works in Mother of Creation triptych represent a different form of birth in our contemporary world.

The first of the series is Mother of Nature - In a cold laboratory setting, with no sign of life, an opening gives way to a branch that transforms into a full vibrant tree. It pushes against gravity and flowers bloom. The tree may bend or even break, but it continues to recreate and flourish. This work features new text by Madonna.

The second work, titled Mother of Evolution, touches on the metamorphosis journey of butterflies, which are one of the most beautiful creations in nature, and a sign of hope. The butterflies are a metaphor for the paradox that the world is burning down in a post-apocalyptic scene, but there is still evidence of life. We continue to give birth, no matter what destruction is going on, no matter what oppression we face. It relays the important message that if you are waiting for the world to be perfect or for your life to be perfect to create art, it will never happen. We have to do it, for our own survival in this chaotic, unpredictable world. The work features lyrics from Madonna’s iconic song Justify My Love, and original music by Igor Bardykin.

The final work is Mother of Technology, and takes place in a beautiful forest, depicting the way science can also give birth light into the world, but only if used with the right consciousness. The centipede represents technology - both the life giving-force and the dangers of it, the juxtaposition of dark and light. Technology continues to evolve in the physical, natural and real world; we can do whatever we want, but there are consequences to that. Nature will ultimately win in the end. The work features the poetry of Rumi.

The triptych concludes with the message that you never know where you are going to find life, and you can never give up hope. All works were conceived with a 3D scan of Madonna and labored through together with Madonna and Beeple. Sound design by Sasha Kasiuha.

The proceeds from the sale will benefit three nonprofit organizations picked by Madonna and Beeple to further their missions in supporting mothers across the globe. Moonpay, whose infrastructure supported the creation of the triptych, will also contribute generously to each charity.

The Voices of Children Foundation has been working to support the women and children affected by the war in Ukraine since 2015 with psychological and urgent care. Children shudder from explosions and shots. They wake up with the shrill sounds of sirens and fall asleep in the basements. Kindergartens, maternity hospitals, shelters where families seek some safety are becoming targets. Children need our help.

The City of Joy Foundation is a transformational leadership community for women survivors of severe violence, located in Bukavu, Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Since opening its doors in 2011, 1734 women have graduated from the City of Joy, healed themselves, been nurtured, learned new skills, empowered themselves and joined into a network of love and revolution. These women have released massive trauma and horrific memories. They have danced, sung, learned their rights, performed plays, developed agricultural skills, and come to love their bodies. They have become leaders in their communities. They are no longer stigmatized for being raped. These women are forces of energy and determination, entrepreneurs of small businesses, initiators of collectives, restaurant owners, farmers with new land, educators and advocates on gender based violence, the list goes on. City of Joy serves 90 survivors of gender violence aged 18-30 at a time.

Black Mama’s Bail Out began in 2017 with a mass bail-out of black mamas and caregivers who are disproportionately incarcerated. Sixty percent of people in local women’s jails have not even been convicted of a crime and are awaiting trial‎—and 80 percent of them are parents. In the tradition of our enslaved ancestors‎—who bought one another’s freedom in many forms and fashions‎—and centering the present-day traditions of Black queer feminism, we began what would become the National Bail Out (NBO) collective. We use the term “Mama” to encompass all Black women and femmes that self-identify as a Mama‎—including cis and Trans women, femmes, gender nonconforming people, and non-binary folks‎—who parent and care for their families and communities in various traditional and nontraditional ways. We are not just speaking about birth and biological mothers. These Black women, femmes, and gender-nonconforming folks‎—Black Mamas and caregivers‎—are often without support or a safety net when they are condemned to a cage: there is no one to come for them. Black Mama’s Bail Out is a campaign to bail out Black Mamas and caregivers from jails and migrant detention centers across the country every year before Mother’s Day, marking the first mass bail out action in contemporary times.

HIGHLY ANTICIPATED DOCUMENTARY-FILM, MADAME X OUT OCTOBER 8 EXCLUSIVELY ON PARAMOUNT+

NEW YORK, NY – August 16, 2021: Madonna and Warner Music Group today announced a milestone, career-spanning global partnership that includes a new agreement for her entire recorded music catalog. With global sales of over 300 million records, Madonna is the best-selling female artist of all time, with countless accolades that include seven Grammy Awards, 24 ASCAP Pop Music Awards, and numerous international trophies, including BRIT, Bravo Otto, Danish Music, Edison, GAFFA, International Dance Music, Ivor Novello, Juno, MTV, and World Music Awards, among many others across the globe. She was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2008.

This partnership marks the revitalization of a decades-long relationship with Warner that began with the release of Madonna’s debut single in 1982. The deal encompasses her entire Sire/Maverick/Warner catalog, including global smash albums such as Madonna, Like a Virgin, True Blue, Like a Prayer, and Ray of Light. It also includes her three most recent studio albums, MDNA, Rebel Heart, and Madame X, which will join the Warner catalog beginning in 2025. All in all, the new pact includes 17 studio albums plus singles, soundtrack recordings, live albums, and compilations.

Warner Chappell Music also globally administers all of Madonna’s songwriting work. This features such top-charting hits as “Like A Prayer,” “Vogue,” “Into the Groove,” “La Isla Bonita,” “Live to Tell,” “True Blue,” “Open Your Heart,” “Who’s That Girl,” “Express Yourself,” “Lucky Star,” “Take A Bow,” and many more.

2022 will mark the 40th anniversary of Madonna’s recording debut. This new deal heralds the launch next year of an extensive, multi-year series of catalog releases that will revisit the groundbreaking music that made her an international icon. For the first time, Madonna will personally curate expansive deluxe editions for many of her landmark albums, as well as introduce unique releases for special events, and much more. The series of releases will be overseen by Warner Music’s catalog team, led by Kevin Gore, President of Global Catalog, Recorded Music, with the first release to be announced soon.

This monumental deal was executed by Madonna’s longtime manager Guy Oseary at Maverick, Allen Grubman of Grubman Shire Meiselas & Sachs P.C., her business manager Richard Feldstein of NKSFB, and Max Lousada, CEO, Recorded Music, Warner Music Group.

Madonna said: "Since the very beginning, Warner Music Group has helped bring my music and vision to all my fans around the world with the utmost care and consideration. They have been amazing partners, and I am delighted to be embarking on this next chapter with them to celebrate my catalogue from the last 40 years.”

Guy Oseary said: “Over the past 30 years, I’ve been fortunate enough to meet and spend time with many of Madonna’s incredible fans, and this new partnership will bring to fruition what so many of them have been patiently waiting for: a celebration of her groundbreaking catalogue. My partner Sara Zambreno and I are working closely with Warner Music Group to bring new life to these iconic works.”

Max Lousada added: “We’re honored to be forming a dynamic new partnership with an incomparable superstar whose influence on our musical and artistic landscape is immense and immutable. Madonna has changed the course of pop and dance music, while taking live performance to new heights of drama and invention. At the same time, she uses her fame to amplify some of the most important social issues and movements of our time. Constantly and fearlessly challenging convention, her four decades of music are not only an extraordinary body of work, but a playbook for creative and cultural evolution.”

On October 8, Madonna will be releasing her highly anticipated documentary film, MADAME X, exclusively on Paramount+, the streaming service from ViacomCBS, and MTV Entertainment Studios in the U.S., Latin America, Australia, the Nordics, and Canada. Fans outside of these markets can watch the documentary on MTV. Filmed in Lisbon, Portugal, the film captures the pop icon’s rare and rapturous tour performance, hailed by sold-out theatrical audiences worldwide. The unprecedented intimate streaming experience will take viewers on a journey as compelling and audacious as Madonna’s fearless persona, Madame X, a secret agent traveling around the world, changing identities, fighting for freedom, and bringing light to dark places.

In other news, Madonna has announced her birthday wish for friends and supporters to adopt a bed at the Mercy James Centre hospital in Malawi, built especially for children. There are 50 beds in the hospital’s ward, where children recuperate after surgery or regain strength following intensive care. By adopting a bed, you can ensure that any sick or injured child that comes through the hospital doors has access to world-class specialized care. Madonna has challenged supporters to adopt all 50 beds in honor of her birthday. For more information on how to donate, go to: www.raisingmalawi.org/adopt-a-bed/
