Beautiful Stranger

Written specifically for the "Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me" soundtrack, the single garnered a Grammy win for Madonna and William Orbit in the best song written for a motion picture, television or other visual media category. The single peaked at No. 2 in the U.K., but in the U.S., hampered by the lack of a commercial single, the track charted on airplay only and peaked at No. 19. In September 1999, Madonna won the MTV Video Music Award for best video from a film for the playful (and quite funny) Brett Ratner-directed clip.
