The third and final single from "Music," the poetic song was a No. 7 hit in the U.K. and got to No. 23 in the U.S. It would have gone higher on the Billboard Hot 100 had there been a traditional commercial single release - and therefore more sales points to move it up the chart. However, only a maxi-single was issued, hence its rather middling chart placement. The track, in its remixed form, hit No. 1 on Billboard's Hot Dance/Club Play chart. Madonna's hubby Guy Ritchie directed the music video for the song. The much-misunderstood video was only screened on MTV and VH1 in the U.S. once, as the networks declined to play it because of its violent content. Undeterred, Madonna released the video commercially as a DVD single.
