RIAA Cert.: PLATINUM

"Music" became Madonna's 12th U.S. No. 1 single, spending a month at the top of the Hot 100. It also hit No. 1 in the U.K., Canada, Japan, Germany and Australia (among other countries). The single earned Madonna her second Grammy nod for record of the year, as well as a nomination for best pop vocal performance, female. "Music" was the first video Madonna released as a DVD single. Two of her previous efforts, "Justify My Love" and "Ray Of Light," were both issued as VHS cassette singles. The DVD single for "Music" includes two versions of the video: an edited clip, and an uncut version. The latter sports a bit more partying with the female strippers featured in the clip, but nothing overly racy.
