Dear Iconer,

A new Madonna era will dawn in the coming months, and with new music comes a rush of exciting news and related announcements. Icon, Madonna's Official Fan Club, also will announce new changes and we wanted you to know about it first.

First of all, please note that the Platinum membership plan will be discontinued after October 1st, 2011. Effective immediately, we no longer are accepting new memberships.

As your 2011 gift and to thank you for your incredible support through the years, all current Platinum and Legacy Platinum members of Icon will be granted a lifetime Legacy Platinum membership, free of charge, which will include:

- Early access to upcoming headlining tour pre-sales
- An exclusive tour poster (more details to be announced later on)
- A permanent discount at Madonna's official online store
- Access to the Icon Magazine digital archive, which will include every single issue ever published
- Other special benefits to be announced.

We also are happy to confirm that all current Platinum and Legacy Platinum members of Icon will retain their access to the Icon Boards and community profiles.

If your Platinum membership has expired, you will have a special opportunity to join the Legacy members group! We will notify you by email, providing instructions on how to register for your Icon Legacy status (you will receive your special e-mail invitation on the week of September 12). Just keep in mind that you will need to register for it before October 1st. After that date, no one will be able to register for the Legacy status ever again.
